Sounds interesting, I supose if I got a donor car I'd also have plenty of other spares. I presume the brakes were beefier on the V6's? Would it not be worth sticking with the original engine in the SE6 and tuning it a bit?

just get one and give it a good service slap a decent pannel filter on it with a complete exhaust system (minus the cat) oh and cold air feed :D they get to 60 quick enough

I suppose if I was to get an SE it would be nice to keep it fairly original.

the 8v engine will actually get to a ton quite quickly, its after the ton mark that it starts to struggle. if you want an se6 then get one. if you want a quick se6 then get one and stick a bigger engine in it.
BETTER TO HAVE A CALIBRA AND NOT NEED ONE, THAN NEED A CALIBRA AND NOT HAVE ONE!!!
