after gettin disheartend with my calibra after stripping the bumper off ,and a few wee other
things needing done etc, i went and got another vectra sri 2.2 ,so the cally is no more .
thanks to all those tht helped me out ... Dod

nothing wrong with the chain driven 2.2 z22se very tough engine aslong as its got the modifyed oil spray jet. had 3 cars with this engine 2001 astra coupe .2004 signum, 2004 astra sri mate o0f mine has vectra c with the 2.2 with over 250k on it now

as for the vectra c great driving car but by far not a pretty site my signum was oki on the inside due to being the direct model with all leather and irmscher goodies but still as ugly as a vectra c

ahhhh clonky clonky rear suspension then. The Vec B is notorious for chewing out the rear rose bushes.

also trailing arm bushes and front strut tops infact just about every bush fitted to a vec b it will chew it up

ours suffered a broken spring on the drivers side too.
