So....
Has anyone done this or considered it?
I looked at it but decided my block was strong enough...
It is useful though, can have all sorts tempered in liquid nitrogen.
They wanted £250 to dip the engine (stripped)
I know this is used a fair bit in motorsport applications and things like brake disks, clutch covers ETC could benefit! Still...I have my HH7 block! might have it done to that. Think you have to bore/hone it first though (or something on those lines)
This doesn't make metal brittle.
