i would put money on it being timming iv spoke to your Dad a couple of times and im sure he has done it right but thats what it sounds like, iv got a nice little red top you could stick in it

thats what we thought but like you said at f/c we looked at the pullys and thay were fine looked at the timing that was fine striped the heads of and had them tested and they were fine its asif its sparking aty the wrong time got a spark and got petrol but no bang

if i were to do a transplant it would be up in size not down lol

timing iv hilighted the marks with french chalk

the bottom mark is behind the Crank pully ...that mark is shown 5 degrees before TDC

right the ecu is of for a free cheaqe in plymouth fingers crossed thats it if not im burning the f*****g thing

how hard would it be for you to go take a close up picture of the pulleys timing marks

well while your taking the picture check that the exhaust cam pullley is on the first mark and the inlet is on second

and you need to take the bottom crank pulley off as well, as the timing mark is behind that
