Rear wheel bearing

by v6 steve » Sat Jan 21, 2012 8:24 pm

Fraz and I have been talking for some time about our rear bearings and we had a few idears about how to build a jig to pull the rear part off the hub, we started to build it last week and Ally and I finished it today it works a treat now all I need is a press to push on the new bearings, I'll post up some pic once I get my laptop back (not worked you to download pics on to this iPad)

Any of the scot's want to chip in for a bearing press ? A 12 ton one is about £130 ? An engineering shop will charge you £20 a side that's £80,

Look forward to seeing the jig, as I think one of mine is noisy.
