Rust

had a look yesterday when I was doing my rear brakes for the rust issue that was picked up on during the MOT and could only see this, would I be right in guessing this must be it?

does it look like it would be an MOT fail this is the only bit I could find that looked pretty nasy... and cheers for once again pointing out the obvious ;)

£100 to weld up... steep? bit close to the fuel tank for DIY IMO...

100 quids a good price for that as when you cut out the rust the area to be welded will almost double

true that... Ive got a mate that could do it but he's not a pro... maybe leave it to the pros on this one... I just need to learn to stop being so tight :)

put it this way i do a lot of homers welding/mot repairs and i wouldnt do it for less than 100 quid
