it seems the rear drivers side back plate part number 90222356 has finaly had enough and the part that holds the handbreak shoe in place has rotted and the pin has pulled through.

does any one know where i could get one from have already phoned vauxhall and all local motorfactors and the either dont list it or cant get hold of one :angry-banghead:

also tried the net and ebay with no luck either although i did find a place in moscow lol but they wouldnt ship to england

That might be why when i had mine replaced, the drivers side is a different one?....why are parts becoming this hard to get hold of?

manufacturers only have to keep spares for 10 years after a last model is produced, as the last calibras were made in 97-98 qed

why not put the pin through a washer?
BETTER TO HAVE A CALIBRA AND NOT NEED ONE, THAN NEED A CALIBRA AND NOT HAVE ONE!!!

Did mine by putting one of the cups on the outside of the pin hole and adapted a new pin to go through it, still holding now :D
