And what makes you think they would get that amount for it over there, if they sold for that amount there we would have none left over here...your never going to get anywhere close to that and even if you did after all the import duties and shipping costs, you would be about the same as it sells for here

Re: prices are on the up
Just had a look at what in envolved in importing a car ...and you have no chance mate
1. Your vehicle must be thoroughly clean from soil and road grime, plant matter and seeds. Important points to check are:
wheels, wheel guards, mud guards
spare tyre and boot
engine bay—remove water from windshield reservoir and ensure your radiator is clean and free of debris in the cooling fins
the underside of the vehicle must be clean
above and around fuel tank
inside chassis rails
under seats
The vehicle must be vacuumed to be clean of soil, food, sand and gravel
then there is the tax which is roughly 15% of the total cost including the shipping fee and value of the car, then getting it to comply with their rules ...cost about £3000 roughly and the most it will sell for is about £3k to £4k so not worth it

Re: prices are on the up
here you go a spread sheet of the costs (though a few years ago 2007) and if you change the amounts for a realistic value of a Calibra v6...its working out you Will be out of pocket by £1700 ish or even more if you use a container
