Is this a hopeful fix towards oil pressure gauge or the red light on?

My gauge was miles out but it never put the light on the dash at all, was the sender unit for me

No no, its ticking on cold start up at 3 bar, no light there , and took the ticking about 5 mins to dissapear... Its when the engine is hot and driving is when the oil light comes on, when slowing down, and on idle. ive not tested the pressure when driving today as the car is in bits, ive got the pressure relief valve out at the moment so i cant move it!!

right, on start up its 2.5 bar from cold, when revved, gets to 3 bar

the pressure gradually works its was down as the engine gets warmer and warmer, and the ticking didn't go away at all this time after 10 mins of running it.

The pressure on idle when hot is just in the red zone with the warning light on, when revved to 2000rpm goes to 1.5bar, any more than 2000 and it dips a wee bit.... what you think?
