Custom exhaust fabrication

I have started a search for companies that make custom exhausts and found these guys not too far from me.

So I emailed them about doing a full system for the V6 (manifolds to tailpipe)

A full 2.5" system cat back should be good for your requirements and to keep the noise down, The cost for this would be £440 if you feel the need we can probably build a 3" system for the car, this would be £550.
The Sports cat would be a 60 gram loaded high quality unit which we use on the high end performance cars and the cost for this would be £250
The down pipes to cat section would be £220 we would need to see the manifold or a gasket to get the correct flanges for the down pipes.
All prices are inclusive of vat and fitting here at our our workshops.
We only use 304l stainless steel and your welcome to come and see us first to see what our work is like and to discuss further.

Might have to bung some pothole tax on the Calibra and go for a drive...

Seems a reasonable price.

I've had this local (to me) guy recommended by loads of people.
Will be getting a new system made for mine in the new year.

£220 for the down pipes I was quoted £550 which is why I've never had them done.

I know...

That's why I think I should take the car to them, because I think they quoted for pipes from the manifold to cat rather than full manifolds. But Griffin Autosport have some stainless steel exhaust flanges for £70, so that'd leave £150 for pipes and labour

Perhaps if I say there could be a potential five other people wanting manifolds it may help on the cost

(Runs off to see if you can use the monthly DD on tax to only get a month or two........)

i spoke to the guys at C&C that did my exhaust on the Drain and they wanted over £700 to build them that was with the down pipe to cat aswell, let us know how this goes i might be up for a set but only if there shiny shiny lol

Here is some ball park pricing:-
V6 Equal Length Manifolds with Laser Cut Flanges and Racing Merge Collectors. 1800.00
Secondary Down Pipes with Flex Joints 400.00
Duel Exhaust System with Qty 2 Silencer Boxes Per side, polished exit Tailpipes 2400.00

Include all mounts and flanges/slip fits and spring retainers where applicable.
All our quality products are Manufacture in Stainless Steel to the highest standard.
All would be fully gas purged and tig welded.
All pricing is subject to VAT
