Re: black or not
I don't see the issue with black wheels. Better than a big set of chrome dinner plates on it

I'm of the same opinion, as the above quote...
I'm not sure what the current trends are in the UK, but in Australia, the 'Black Mags Trend' DIED really quickly...

Black or Dark Mags defeat the concept of having Mags, being that they are meant to add some spark to the look of the Car...
Black or Dark Mags often FAIL to do that, and they usually are and look CHEAP!!!
But whatever makes You Happy!!! Best Wishes with the FINAL Outcome!!!

I was doing some Wheel Shopping recently, and when I asked the various suppliers:
"Why are the Black Mags so much Cheaper than the Chrome, being that they are of the same Size and Style?"

Most Wheel Suppliers in Sydney replied: The Black Mags are a 'Dying Trend' and are NO Longer in high demand...
They were the 'Cheaper Option' but most people are now wanting more Bling, for their cars!!!
From what I've seen on the NSW Roads over the last 6 months, I'd say their reply is very accurate!!!

Re: black or not
Cheaper because they sell more of them?
Chrome belongs in Bankstown with all the lebs and WRX's
It's also where the 'bling' look should die

Black Mags are Cheaper because Paint costs much less, than getting the Wheels Chrome Plated!!!
And all the Lebs driving WRX's have mostly Black Mags!!!
