the beast is back!!!
Re: the beast is back!!!
the front is an insert, so it its leaking and the mot centre spotted it....it must be well knacked for it to show ...the rears are just a a shock ...they would be easy to spot if leaking
and your car must handle like a jelly if you have uprated springs with standard shocks ...can get a full Apex kits for abour £250

Re: the beast is back!!!
i think i will eventually change to the billys and use the g-max springs. wont be just now though
i suppose over a knackered standard set up the g-max is better but after driving a car with billys fitted i have to admit they are far superior to the g-max shocks

yeah im sure i wont steve , i personally dont think anything is leaking but handling is great at front of the car and the rear feels like a bit of bodyroll at times..

well all i know was when the springs were replaced the driveshaft still had the old type of dust covers on the metal ones , my mate who used to be a vauxhall fitter said normally if there not on there then it would all be the original stuff.
and he said mine looked untouched

Re: the beast is back!!!
if your replacing the shocks baz you might aswell go the full monty and do your arms rod ends etc at the same time
or atlest your rod arms as you need to get the tracking done either way
