insurance for v6 with mods

well its that dreaded time again guys.........i was with admiral but they now want £600 to renew....
i have 9 years protected no claims and with just the airfilter and cat back exhaust for mods who can you recomend?

they were the first ones i tried and they said they couldnt take it due to the mods.........just been told from another company that its classed as a import :banging: :banging:

sky insurance are specialists in modified insurance or did you call the tv sky ? i would have thought the drain and the se2 turbo where more modifeid than your v6

i know mate,at first he had it at £400 but according to him the underwriters refused it .........no happy

well looks like am gona have to return the v6 back to complete standard as the only decent qoute i can get is for £35 per month with it all standard :( not happy but if needs must :axed:

I am with performance direct, was cheaper than sky with all the mods

well am all sorted now......went with think insure,who with the car as standard is £35 per month :mrgreen:

I pay £317 with all the mods with Sky.

get motor traders, I have as I sell more than 2 cars a year (thats the min requierement but needs no proof). Means I can drive any car I want. I can get you the number for my broker, its a lot easier and cheaper if you drive more than one car, both me and the wife are on it

im with esure... i pay about £400 for the year fully comp, with Protected No claims and with Mods... thats on limited milage 5K/year as I drive my works van most of the time...

what mods did you have on the v6 ? im just over £400 for my 3.2 v6 with bucket load of mods do you have a bad drivers record

not really bud, there is the back box and the air filter thats it....iv got 9 years protected no claims....iv had 2 ins claims since 2008 but they were both deemed not my fault, they said it could be the area i live thats causing it......

iv took the ins at £35 per month so just gona swap the air filter back to normal and do the same on the back box
