3.0 V6 engine on the 'Bay

by MarkV6 » Sat Nov 13, 2010 10:55 pm

A late night trawl of the bay, unearthed this little gem
275bhp 3.0 V6

Being naturally suspicious of the 'quoted' bhp claim, I've sent a question/s
Ebay question wrote:Hi, you say the engine puts out 275bhp? What has been done to achieve this output? Do you have receipts for the work done or any rolling road dyno graphs?

I await the 'ummm that's what the mechanic said it would do...' answer

And if it's anyone's on here..... Why didn't you mention it??
I used to own this Calibra...
I now own this one.

275bhp my t**s, Mark you know as well as i do how much he would need to spend to get that from a v6 and if it did have that power he would have RR results or recits to back it up with, looking forward to his reply

ooooo I was so close...
ebay seller wrote:No dyno's i dont have recepit's for engine because i got done by my mate who do it cheaper so if he did recepict he had charge me more ( threw his job ), its not had much just been polished and i should said in the advert it been esitmated around that by him, it running 225bhp standard and with all the engine inside been polished and if look threw oil cap you can see even the piston's even been polished, its a smart engine.

And if I could look through my oil cap and see the piston, I'd be wondering where a lot of my engine had gone.... :confusion-scratchheadyellow:

Still.... If it doesn't sell, perhaps someone could offer him £300 for it. He might accept it. :scared-whoa:
