Are these diagnostics thingys any good if the 16 to 10 pin adaptor is used as well?

I've got one of these. It works. The 16-to-10 pin adaptor I got only passes through 4 leads, so only the pin 7 diagnostic lead connects. This gives you engine, chassis, brakes, but not airbag or immobiliser which use pin 12. The actual OP-COM 16 pin connector uses 7 leads, so presumably if I had a better 16-to-10 way adaptor I would get these. That said the device works well and shows and clears faults, and gives read-outs of the metering blocks. Worth getting.

I have the opcom and the adaptor lead but on my cavalier it only lets me reset the airbag it wont let me access any LET engine functions.
on my later vectra however it lets me do just about anything including coding keys etc.
Well worth the investment if you ask me ...I got mine from Furby over on vvoc
