Plastic chromed header tank

as some of you may no iv been after a alloy header tank for some time now and had no joy so when v6steve mentioned having the plastic 1 chromed i though what the hell lets give it a go and i am well impressed

That looks great :)

Will it stand-up to the heat though?, and i personally think it would look even better had the markings and part number etc on the surface of the plasic been smoothed/sanded off prior to the chroming.

nobody nos about the heat but the kids i got it off said they bake it at a very high tempriture so it should be ok

i agree with you on the bit about sanding off the marks but its the first 1 to be done so no one new how it would look
