IGNITION BARREL FITTING
I've removed the current ingition barrel, to replace it...
It came out fairly easily, but the replacement won't go back in now...
I've tried another 3 ignition barrel's and none would go in all the way...
Is there some sort of trick to this???
Haynes Manual says nothing about...

Re: IGNITION BARREL FITTING
Finally, I got the Bugger fitted...
THE FOLLOWING STEPS WILL HELP ALOT...
1 - Ensure that the 'Steering Wheel' is NOT Locked...
That's why I had problems, getting it to fit correctly...
2 - Use a small screw driver, to depress the Tab at the Lower Right of the Ignition Cylinder...
3 - Turn the key one click, so that the Locking Tab on Top of the Barrel, will depress and allow insertion...
4 - Use some WD-40 or Olive Oil to lubricate the Barrel, prior to fitting...
5 - Gently insert the Ignition Barrel into the Ignition Cylinder fully, then turn the key to start the car...
6 - Turn car off, and retract the Key... Repeat this Test a few times...
I'm sure these steps, will help those in need of this info some day...
