C20 XE Prices

Is it just me or is c20xe prices climbing higher again i have added the link to one on eBay £700 low miles 95,000 if that what they selling for i might sell 2 of mine lol one has 65,000 genuine and the other 85,000 not to mention i have one in my calibra with only 91,000 on it would seem i have a nice little nest egg here but the question is will these engines demand higher values in a couple more years what do you's guy think

Its not clear that he actually sold it. His ad for the rest of the car which is still live says that he may keep the engine.

Its way above any previous price I've seen, especially as it is almost certainly not a Coscast head. I sold a really nice XEJ for £325 last summer which seemed to be a fair price then and I don't see what has happened to spike the price up.

Unlike LETs where another market seems to be appearing. Was talking to a Ford fanatic (his family has 3x RS500 Sierras from new, his worth £43k!!!) and he says they are now being used to replace the Cosworth Turbo when it breaks as it is getting too expensive in parts and the LET is a bargain

I've not heard of an XEJ. I assume this is a version of the XE, but what is there about it which justifies the individual code?

It is the XE out of an early Astra. Various bits in it didn't make it into real volume production.
