Another Newbie

Greetings all. I've been checking out this site for a few weeks now. My Cali is a '94 16V Ecotec which I bought in 1996 with 8,000km on it. It has some history being one of the cars in the 1994 Adelaide GP celebrity race (came 2nd last apparently) and it then spent time as a promotional car before I bought it. It's now got 132,000lm on it and remains as my favourite car to drive. It's showing a little age, sagging roof lining being the most visible but otherwise drives brilliantly. I'm enjoying some of the builds in progress and maybe one day I'll do a full restoration.

Thanks for the welcome. I've been a bit slack with pictures but will look to get more up soon and in a better setting than my garage. Might wait for the wet season here in Cairns to take hold and green things up a bit. Everything is very dry and ugly at the moment, and stiflingly humid to boot so not very motivated to do much work on it other than necessities.

Not sure about the shade of blue. I'm pretty certain it's the only shade that came to Australia. Since I've owned it I've only seen about 5 other blue ones and one is at a wreckers sadly.
