Just got that hose replaced this morning £62 from vauxhall & had to get it sent up from Engerland.... Their computer said it was the last one in stock

Craig & I Replaced the broken spring last night .never ever seen a spring broke in 3 before

Well the old girl did herself proud today - passed her MOT with no advisories whatsoever !
The MOT inspector was all over her as he's a vauxhall fan & runs a minted V6 vectra . He said that's she's still absolutely solid which is a bonus
We both had a laugh at the scrapes on the exhaust , it's a bit low but that's how it's staying

Thanks Craig here's the car the MOT guy has , love the colour


Now you'll notice the magnets on the fuel delivery hose before it hits the fuel rail . The mot guy swears that it helps him get an extra 4-5 mpg & he's had these magnets on 3 cars now & the mpg had increased.... After a bit of googling & For only a tenner of eBay , am gonny take a punt

I have stopped working on it just now mate, I have bought a house with my girlfriend in grangemouth and hope to be moving in a month or so. I'm in this for the long term now with the car as the decorating etc, will keep me busy for a while. I'm buying all the parts that i will need to get her on the road as lot of rubber bushes/ball joints and pipes under the car needs done from front to back. The good news is that with in a year or so i will have my garage up and the car in it to work on.

Brill ! Hope all goes to plan for you Phil . That's exactly what happened with me & the GSI. The car got sidelined coz of the house & ended up lying in the driveway for 5 years :'-(
