Re: CweLibra Turbo.
Ive got this of german ebay, its about 20years old, hifonics taurus x, LIKE NEW!!!! Got 5f power cap too same as in red 8v
it will be located on the right side, this is a mockup build since i had no mdf ive used old piece which was carpeted just too see fitment options...
Bought 2 ac ballast for high beam, not coz they are slim not coz they are AC but because they are FAST BRIGHT!
FAST BRIGHT HID BALLAST 35W, BRIGHT IN ONE SECOND (thats in the decription but it needs about 5sec with my crappy dc bulbs, might buy better quality AC soon so cold start would be much less then 5sec also flashing works fine!

Re: CweLibra Turbo.
I need to paint mdf door in black, put alu handle and magnet inside to hold compartment closed . Theres more space behind first aid kit...

Re: CweLibra Turbo.
I have finally found steering wheel with alignment.
Also i got appradio 2 yesterday, load of testing pics including connecting xbox 360 to hdmi port. It works like a charm, handsfree sounds fine, with plugin on jailbroken iphone im able to use it as a big mirrored display with all the functions.
Manual says its tiltable up to 60 degrees
And today i modified dashboard, did some cardboard cutting to fit appradio slightly tilted, i plan on using 5mm laser-cuted plexiglass (instead of this cardboard) which will be fiberglassed (similar to carPC display i did earlier for my friend) and painted in matte black. I will leave small compartment below appradio so i can put phone in there.

Re: CweLibra Turbo.
Thanks Steva!
At Monday i was at my friends place to cut plexiglass with laser , ive used 2 types, transparent 5mm and black 3mm to line it up with the display.
Yesterday i glued it together and started fiberglassing and sanding...
Today I did A LOT of sanding, managed to paint it around 20h, i didnt press the bezel to perfectly line up with the display because paint is fresh and i would leave a fingerprint . Ima let it dry for some time and hopefully fit everything back this weekend including handsfree mic and rearview camera...
I didnt wanna make 2din case on purpose, its more factory looking without separate bezel AND its harder to steal appradio this way, its gonna be screwed with 6 screws which can be acessed only by removing center console .

Re: CweLibra Turbo.
Thanks Amigo. Ive finished it today, I also painted trunk mdf compartment in black and put aluminum handle. Handsfree mic (near my gauges) was meant to be mounted flat but sound was bad so i will use that hole for hazard lights switch later, now it works fine but looks ugly as hell

This is hifonics XI GEN bass remote, useful thing but very bulky for my setup...
Ive sanded the knob and sprayed it with transparent coat...
Then ive mounted it bellow cig lighter...
Ive shortened the knob in the end but didnt take pictures here are some with longer version...
My astra z20let friend took my turbo off today because it was leaking oil around feed pipe, tomorrow its gonna be checked by a workshop where it was repaired in january. I will try to find new feed pipe but i doubt i will without ordering... Funny thing, some hubs were missing and some were not tightened, shame, you can see it on the gasket...
Removed it for about an hour on the streetzzzzz
