looks good buddy
Re: Newbie rolling resto.
Thanks all, it's coming along alright at the moment. Not sure the Sun visors are going to go back in now they are black as they still slightly tacky. Found some Saab replacements in black and hoping they will line up ok.
Had a few minutes this morning without my 4yr old hassling me and replaced the gear knob, and you can see in the pic the old school mini disc Sony headunit which I had in my first calibra.

Re: Newbie rolling resto.
No pics today, but I have been busy. Been getting the new wheels ready in the black that I am spraying them, got some bespoke wheel centre caps to make up looking fwd to showing them off.
Spent most of the morning changing the oil level sender o-ring in the lower sump, was awkward but got it done and hopefully no oil on the drive in the morning
Fitted the sunroof fabric seal around the headliner now it's been sprayed black and it looks good.
Gave the car a wash which I love doing but hate as well as I get up close and personal with the awful paintwork on this car. Respray one day.

Re: Newbie rolling resto.
Well it's taken some time and searching but the headliner is finished. New Saab Sun visors in the right colour. Very happy in all.
I do want to source some original dark calibra plastic for the pillar trim but at the minute my sprayed black will do.

Re: Newbie rolling resto.
Few nice jobs today. Homemade wheel centres to match the new/old irmscher wheels. One more to paint then tyres.
Had an electrician out also to make a new loom for the merc seats, they will be in in a couple of weeks. All for £100.
Once wheels are on and I have driven it for a bit I can move onto the welding of the rear arches, but they can wait a little bit.
