CweLibra Turbo.
Re: CweLibra Turbo.
I have finally decided to change heat panel that i prepared earlier. Did some modifications and added more white LEDs. Mounted vectra b steering wheel coil, white LEDs in steering wheel wired remote and changed smd resistors with ones that pioneer units recognize.
Disassembling

SMD LEDs

Hot gluing wires into place

Shortend sliders

Testing

Modified vectra b coil vs calibra std coil

Everything fits

Assembling

Got ugliest switch for hazard lights, just to cover the hole. Ima switch that ASAP.

Steering wheel remote LED swap

Removing factory resistors

Soldering SMD resistors with appropriate values and modifying pcb.

Reworking vectra b steering wheel coil harness with calibra connectors on the end.

Everything is back and fully functional

Re: CweLibra Turbo.
I was testing spare CarPC using HDMI on Pioneer AppRadio, turned out to be fully functional! I cant use touch input until i disassemble the pioneer unit, and try some stuff, so ive bought armrest to fit 3D SpaceNavigator with commands i programmed years ago.
Testing the PC

Modifying teh armrest

Old plexiglass holder

Beta version

More armrest mods, it has 7USB ports for charging sharing ONLY 1A. Ive got some 12v 2x2.1A usb charger. Changed SpaceMouse holder angle and painted it black.

Hidding screws and cables

Now we have armrest with 3 front USBs, 4back USBs sharing 2.1A. Other 2.1A port is located inside the armrest, and another USB connected to the PC.

Final position of the armrest, its retractable so it has 2 levels of height.

Ima swap these leds to white ones, one day
. CarPC will be located in the trunk.

Finally removed hood vynil. Got so many new and old scratches so i decided to fill em all
.

Filling

In the end 3 layers of black spray filler and soon ima wrap it in one shiny color, probably glossy black, simple and clean.

Before wrapping it, ima put LE front bumper

Re: CweLibra Turbo.
More armest modifications, screws are well hidden, so only option was to screw center console from underneath the car. Also moved Ipod/iPhone connector for AppRadio

Then fitting the LE bumper

Had to cut it a bit and now its symmetrical

Fits perfeclty, i plan on putting 63mm polished FMIC pipes in the future.

Preparing and glueing rear skirt by MyDesign*****

Wrapping with cheapest black gloss wrap
not so shiney but will do the job for short term use, better then my old damaged paintjob for sure.

More pics

Painted door handles and side trims

Washed it up

I need to move rear exhausts and get LE side trims and put other rims...

Thanks guys!
Ive changed amp to RF Punch 200 DSM so i spent few hours making this

More sanding below...
In the meantime, ive moved rear exhausts and wrapped numberplate lights

After more sanding came black carpeting and its done

Re: CweLibra Turbo.
Wrap made me nervous, not so glossy and visible scratches all around.
Today car went to visit a car painter. I disassembled it and its gonna be done soon. Its gonna be metallic with hard clear coat Cromax CC6400

I almost went for this color

But its gonna be different, nothing special but i never seen it on a calibra...

Painting preparation

Base color

Clear coat

Putting it back together

Visited my friend and my other turbo

Then we visited SerbianCalibraDay, more pics here http://postimg.org/gallery/2l4f17nze/

Visited my friend, again and changed the accumulator bulb. Now i need to assemble the interior

An awesome job! Great car in every aspect!
It was great pleasure to see her in new outfit, also driving together a few kilometers on highway two weeks ago.
Best wishes my friend!

Re: CweLibra Turbo.
Thanks guys!1!!
Finished side trims and i sanded edges of this lip. CarPC is mounted in trunk now, i just need to redo the carpeting

host images
Lip has 3m doubleside tape so its easily removable if it gets bored
Had some troubles with radiator hose, it was my mistake because i had to cut it and then it was wide to fit on radiator, put narrower one first, it held for about 500km, then i oredered new one.
This was my fix, silly me...
Spark plug cap came back, powdercoated in red, have to sand and polish the fonts. I need to order red silicone hoses but i never get to it...

Re: CweLibra Turbo.
Awesome Calibra, how they should be done. Shout out from Slovenia to Serbia!
Re: CweLibra Turbo.
Thanks Bandit
Ive been traveling a lot last 20 days, in the end of my trip ive got small hole on one of the turbo coolant hoses. Not a big problem, i got home and had to remove the turbo. Made new hoses, this ones gonna last a loootttttt...

It was running high temp with 4 persons, ac and luggage so i went back to factory radiator, XE chinese one was not so nice. Did some cutting on the bumper, sponge and shim, now FMIC has more air. It was rought cut, bumper needs a rework, number plate will stay in the middle but i might move it to the left and get more air trough fmic n stuff...
.

Finaly got 55mm rubber hose to remove those narrowings ive had to the tophat. Temperature is fine now but didnt have rough contitions, driving up the mountain with 4 peaople in the car, with ac on summer 40degrees day
. Also got new coolant bottle.

Changed water bar with metal one but have no pictures, money well spent since it failed few times on my last calibra...
This is how it looks fully loaded without me in the car, low and not slow

One CREEPY, behind the scenes

One xenon bulb went out so ive bought 2 new, same as old ones 4300k. Changed headlight wiring, with relay holders, everything is soldered and insulated with heat shrink tubes, i was outta tape in the end, will sort wires soon but thats just the looks
.
