Eddey's V6 - The Ghost...
Eddey's V6 - The Ghost...
I bought My Calibra with 112,000 Km's on it, at the Local Car Auction, in March of 2003
At the time, I was looking at Various Cars like, Nissan: 180SX, 200SX, 300ZX, Sylvia and Skyline...
Toyota: Supra, MR2 and the Subaru WRX, but the Calibra was 'The Car' that Stood Out most to Me!!!
As there were so many of the other Cars going around, I wanted something Different to the Rest...
I Basically kept it Standard the whole time, as it was already in Fairly Decent Condition...
That was until it was recently reversed into whilst parked, only then to be struck from behind
in July 2010 just a few weeks later... And so the 'Make Over' was then forced upon Me...
When deciding on the 'Make Over' I wanted to upgrade 'The Look' but at the same time I still wanted it
looking like a Calibra... So I salvaged the V-Grille off the damaged Bumper, and the Wheel Selection was
based on the Original Style... As the Front and Rear Bumper Bars got damaged and had to be replaced, the
Body Kit was the Best Available Option... It was the same situation with the Muffler, Head Lights & Tail Lights!
It was then that I had decided, that now would be a good time to patch up the few dings and some faded
areas, so the whole car was then re-sprayed! It went in on the 18 Aug 2010 & was out 29 Sep 2010 (6 weeks)
The Muffler was the Last Stage, and I decided to replace 'The Cannon' with the Twin Exhausts on both
sides to sit well in the Style of the New Rear Bumper Bar... To accomplish this, the Rear Lower Spoiler
was removed and the Rear Towing Hook was cut off, in order to position the Muffler right in the centre!
It's now 'THE GHOST' that Roars!!!

Re: Eddey's V6 Profile
Ok... My next focus on the list, is getting a much Smoother Ride!
I'm currently looking at various Types/Brands of Front and Rear Shocks!
Also looking and replacing the various Bushes, that might also be worn out!
I took it to Two different Pedders Shops, and got Two very different Reports!
So I'm wondering what Conclusion, the Third Diagnosis will present Me with!
Then, it's the Rear Number Plate Lamp Lenses, that need to be Upgraded!
As the Originals didn't fit well, and don't looking as Flashy, as the rest of the car!
So Anyone with some Useful Information, please don't be Shy!
