Right as a few of you all ready know i managed to save a 2.0 16v from been scrapped last June . the car wasn't running when i picked it up. after a few hours some new gaskets got it up and running. then came the mot its fate laid in what happened here so in it went for a test after i had fitted 1 new Tyre and redid the fuel lines and it went straight through happy days.the hole car was solid to fare the major issues were lacquer peal down the passenger side surface rust on the sills front wing and rear archers but nothing too bad to save

after getting an mot and having loads of fun next was the big clean i resided to strip the interior out and give it a really good deep clean

the drivers seat was too far gone so replaced it with a passenger from John and maria

As is well known I don't like green cars but this one of two that I do, well done young man

it wasnt the best the whole car was minging on the inside bud took some cleaning but got there in the end

Here's a little update back in January I desided to ceramic coat the welly

about a month ago I desided she's a keeper, so always wanted to upgrade the stereo for something more modern something I can mirror my phone on and use Google maps waze Spotify YouTube and have built in hands free and play all my music etc. So me been me and never doing things simple or straight forward desided I was going to fit a double din. Took a bit of work but got to where I want to be in the end

Started with taking the plastic surround out

After cutting out the middle bit and a good couple of days shaping fiberglassing and using body filler it was ready for primer

A quick squirt of primer

Then painted it with textured plastic look paint

And the final result which I'm very happy with

Next up was new pads and pad sensors which then led to the following
New pads
New pad sensors
New discs
New bearings
New dust shields
Nes ABS sensor brackets
New eibach pro spots springs 40mm lower x4
New bilstein b6 shocks x4
New top mounts and bearings
New drop links
New ball joints
New track rod end ball joints
New bolts all round stainless steel where possible
New caliper repair kit
Calipers and brackets stripped blastered back painted in yellow
All the black metal bits steering knuckle strut top housing inside of hubs all acid duped blasted and powdercoated in black
