Well after spending 4 hours yesterday trying to bypass my immobiliser so I can start the engine I finally decided to take apart the Immobiliser key (fob) Got the soldering iron out and ended up fixing the damn thing!
The good thing is, this gave me an opportunity to actually find out what immobiliser and alarm I have fitted as there wasnt any documentation when I purchased the car, and to my amazement, its actually a Cobra thatcham approved alarm/Immob! So Im now back in business - all I need to do is contact an approved fitter, get a certificate and down goes my insurance
