Oil /volt gauge
Hi - I've managed to wire in my gauge in my cally but after wiring in the illumination cable to the green/grey wire in the stereo iso loom I find that although the gauge lights up it doesn't dim with the dimmer switch.
Is there such a wire will do this on the iso loom or do I have to go behind the instument binnacle - and if so where is the wire and what colour will it be?
cheers

The screw terminal is the oil pressure signal! - it goes into the screw terminal of your (hopefully) 2 output oil pressure sender.
If you connect the live direct to the battery you will have to fuse it with a 30amp (I think) fuse, and whilst this will give a truer reading it will not be a switched live so it will be on all the time.

for the gauges lights to dim its best if you use the clock (or D.I.D or Fuel Computer...what ever you have) wiere for the light , that dims with the wee wheel dimmer thing
IIRC I wired the actual voltage wiere to the back of fuse 9 , but a lot have just used the lighter feed wire
the oil gauge needs the oil switch changed to the duel type sender and then a wire run from the gauge to the new sender unit
