How can i clear the ECU completely to get out of limp mode on me car?

will it just do it itsself?

tried resetting the battery is there any other way of doing it?

I dont think you can.

When you are in limp mode the ECU is telling you that something is wrong with the car.

If you try to reset the ECU by disconnecting the battery and nothing changes then the ECU is still picking up a fault.

I think you need to sort out the fault.

i know how but its is temp messure!


dive along in 4th gear then turn off engine count to 6 then turn on while still moving! it should disapeir but will come back on whenu stop and resart the car later.

i have the same prob all to do with sensors cam shaft and cranck shaf both about £100 each of VX!!!!
