Headlight swap issues

Just installed my new headlamps with fogs.

When I installed the switch into the dash, I noticed that the light in the switch was very dim, and doesn't turn the lights on.....

Any clues?

Also, the height adjustment motor on the right side seems to "search" for proper adjustment every time I turn on the headlights. I can see the beam moving up,down,up,down, a few times....

It's just a matter of connecting the 2 plugs to the headlight unit. It's that easy. All 3 plugs are different, so you can't mix them up.

When you remove the headlight from the car, it will all make sense. (I even did mine with the battery still connected, [img]/laugh.gif[/img] )

Sounds silly but, have you put a relay in the fuse box for the fog's. will explane why they arnt comming on.

If not just pull the one for the horn out and push it into the spoty below it for the fog's just to test

I have the switch and relay for the front fogs in my SE1
If i change the lights for ones with fogs is the wiring there
for it?

yes, all calibras have the wiring in the main headlight harness already, it's as easy as installing the lights, the switch and the relay!
