radiator fan

im gonna be quick. my radiator fan does not start, temp slowly rises and holds between the two red lines. i couldnt find its fuse anywhere. although it is listed on the cover of the fusebox, there is no fuse connector in that position. i have no idea what to check first. i dont wanna go buy a new one and then find out its a fuse or its thermostat.

the fuse for the coolingfan is the same one as the heater fan..i think

if the heater blower works it is probably the fan switch..

The fan does not come on until the engine gets very very hot,or about to over-heat,at least thats what the ecotec fan does.

The connector from the fan should go to the thermostat? in the radiator, if you short that out the fan should go on. If it does go on you need to change the thermostat? in the radiator if it doesn't go on then you may have a break in the wiring.

faulty wiring and a burnt jack on the fan made it go to heaven. put in new fan, and problem solved. kind of. i need to change the termostat relay on the radiator also, cus it only starts the low stage. however, if u short the wires of the thermostat it starts at maximum rpm. will have to wait for part to arrive on monday
