i bought a (L) reg calibra 2.0 8v about a month ago. it has been parked up in my work since then every morning shifting it out side then bringing it back in at night. every few day's the battery has been going flat so have just been jumpstarting it. today i got my road tax so it's now on the road, put a new battery on it and checked the charging rate........ well fook me it's charging at 14.89 volt's with light's/heater/rear heated screen on!!!! ok i have seen this before fooked alternator. so i bought a new bosch one, fitted it and welll...........still charging at 14.89 volt's!!!!! could this be a fooked voltage regulator at the back of the instrument panel,or a faulty new alternator?
or am i barking up the wrong tree?
