can you operate the electric windows with the ignition off? as i got out of the car tonight i noticed the window switches were illuminated after the ignition was turned off,never noticed this before.just checked,still illuminated,now 45 mi nutes later.

they should turn off after you close the door getting out after driving

i wonder if this is causing the battery drain i've had for the last 3 years!!! better not be!!

my lights on the switch stay on till you lock the door then they go off

Mine have wierd on mode also - when i turn of engine they turn off also, and when i open drivers door (only) they turn on, close it and they are off again... so sometimes i find myself in stupid situation holding door open so i can operate windows or having to turn key to "contact" position (before starting engine when lights in dash turn on)...
