Seat heating wiring
Hi lads, Im wiring my heated seats in today. I cannot find the connectors at the seat end so i am going to make up my own loom. Am i right in thinking that the black/red, goes to the black/red on the switch? What about the brown from the seat, would that go to brown on the switch also? How hot should the seats get?
Thanks for your help

Did you manage to do this.
Just got a set of leathers today and fitted most of it but I dont have the wires under the carpet to plug into the seats.
Not checked for the sockets to plug into the switches yet as I dont have the switch panel. Not sure if its just a wire and switch job or if you need relay etc.

the wire is under the carpet on every cally ive seen, ive seen them under the black foam part under the carpet most times , found by chance when i took the black foam out to stuff it in the tumble dryer, they are atached to the ridge of metal that the seats bolt to on most with a cable tie but still under the black foam on most

I,ve done the passenger seat but couldn't find anything but will look again when I do the drivers seat tomorrow night. Where does the wire run to from under the seat ? I had the plastic sill cover off and also looked at the wires that run from the sill accros in front of the seat and into the centre console around the gear stick.
But as mention in another thread when I fitted my trip computer I didn't have the loom in place for the switch, although the big yellow trip computer plug was. Its as though the car loom was put in place on the production line just for a plain 16v !
