Electric window fuses

by Mark_W » Wed May 03, 2006 10:28 am

My calibra only has one fuse for the electric windows. The fuse box shows symbols for seperate fuses for the passenger and drivers side window. Slot 26 (passenger window) on the fuse box is empty and has no wires going to the back of it either. My passenger window hasnt worked since i've had the car. Any ideas?

Fuse number 26 is a spare, check fuse number 30 which is for both electric windows and should be a 30amp fuse

Ah right, thats what i needed to know. Fuse 30 is in and working fine as the drivers side window is working. Need to explore further to find out why the passenger one isnt working then.

Could be a faulty switch unit? I haven't had the centre console out for a long time now so I can't remember if the switches are plugged in individually or not for each side. Guess it could also be the window motor!
