Control Indicators?????

OK so i decide to pull aprt my dash as none of my control indicators were lit.
You know the ones, windscreen washer empty/oil level low/coolant low/brake bulb failure etc etc

Well bugger me sideways with an banana, pulled the dash aprt in 15mins, many thanks to Fraz for the guide it worked a treat!!! :thumb:
But when i looked on the back of the instrument binnacle, i noticed that i had no leads/wires running to the slots that would hold the bulbs in .

So my question is,
1)did all calibra's have the check system?
2)or is there something missing from mine? 95 M plate se4
3)If you look at the other side there seems to be an underlay which i guess mime should have on the other side but dosent???

Well cheesed now as i thought i would be able to sort it all out, guess i will plug it all back in with only 1 bulb replaced :sob:

Cheers for the quick reply, puts my mind at rest.
It's really odd as i have the wires for the brake pad worn indictor at the wheel but no bulb etc on the dash binnicale.
Wierd having a car fitted with but not used sort of thing.

as you look at the pics i put a new bulb in slot 18 but left the others as i dont have 4x4 and TC etc

By the looks of those pics i would say your car does not have the check control system, there are no +/- feeds to the bulbs.

Plus i can only see two plug connectors where all other dash's ive played around with that have check control have three plug connectors.

I also notice that yours is a digtal speedo dash not analogue cable etc
Suprise that there is quite a difference!!!
Now i wonder if some where in my dash theres a plug hidden like the old trip computer???
