V6 EML Annoying Now
<!--QuoteBegin-Dex+--><div class='quotetop'>(Dex)</div><div class='quotemain'><!--QuoteEBegin-->posted this on mig - but i have *exactly* the same problem - (well ok not quite - mine sometimes clears itself for a few minutes of joyous driving!)
i have a fault 17 and i've tracked it down to the front not back
i'm told the wiring that goes from plug on top of engine backwards can be at fault<!--QuoteEnd--></div><!--QuoteEEnd-->can be, but try swapping front and back sensors over to see if the fault transfers with it. if it does its the sensor.

<!--QuoteBegin-Dex+--><div class='quotetop'>(Dex)</div><div class='quotemain'><!--QuoteEBegin-->Great news on fixing it - what did it finally take to get it sorted?<!--QuoteEnd--></div><!--QuoteEEnd-->hey Dex, it was fanally the front knock sensor. If you go back about 5 or 6 posts you can see the diagnostic route I took. In fact the whole of this thread does.
