Fan Speed Switch

Can anyone tell me what I need to fix so I have more than one speed on my fan switch. The fan only works on the second to last setting so its nearly flat out, very annoying!!

It will probably be a fuse, thats the best place to start if you havn't already. The fuse for the first stage fan is also the fuse for the air-con fan, it's a 30 amp fuse located in the engine bay fuse box.

Nice work on the door check arms.

It could be the switch itself, had a similar problem once and was advised to change the switch and that fixed the problem

Ceramic resistor under the windscreen wipers, most times attached to the motor itself, you can pick them up from the scrapper for a couple of quid.
