should be 120, though early ones were 70 lol. so if you have a cheapo 100 i'd try it...

*edit* now i've posted that i'm doubting myself,, were some 90a also? arg... do a search lol. i've posted in the past, my memory is being a bit poor... 90% they are all 120a on the widebelt setup and 70a on the vbelt.

well vauxhall list two part numbers for the turbo alternator, the earlier one they don't list its ampage but the later one is 120A, the earlier one trade club price is around £66 but the later one is £122 however there's a 100A on e-bay, so not sure what to do, may well just whip mine off tomorrow night as its written on it

My 92vbelt definately had a 70a. but you use the heated seats and lights etc all at the same time and it wasnt very happy. the 120 is much better. Theres another thread on here somewhere, T.F.S and another user both posted saying they ahve a 120 for sale.

well I plumped for the 100A off e-bay for £62 really good quality considering its price, does the job though, not too sure what the original one was as all there is a Lucas ref number on it, in saying that there was only 2 bolts holding it together, no wonder it was making such a racket
