Ecu`s are they interchangable pk, pj, hd ?

Does anyone know if its possible to put an ecu from one car to another if both had different ones?

are the wiring and pin outs on them the same?

There may be an immobiliser fault, but the HD`s has gone with the chips and the other has a push button so i dont think that will be a problem

Will the car start? , will it not start or will it blow the ecu?

I want to put my phase3 ecu (pj or pk?) into the HD car , and the other back in its place?
