Any electrical issues

What can i check if the fuel gauge has stoped working?
i currently have a starting problem as well could they one of the same problem.

with the starting fault i have changed....

1. fuel relay
2. battery
3. starter motor.

possible alternator fault? and ideas?

also you can check number 2 fuse as i had this happen when i blew a fuse when i shorted one.

You're know if its an alternator problem if you charge the battery up and then go for a drive, you;ll get about 15mins of driving time before the battery dies...

If you charge the battery fully out and then its still not starting then it wouldnt be the alternator... more likely to be fuses, relays or wiring, check the earth connection first...

Do you get the engine check light come on at all?

As for the fuel gauge, could be the the sender unit, or a loose connection somewhere...

Electrical problems are normally either an easy fix or a nightmare but the only way to get them sorted is to go through a process of elimination...

Have you changed anything electrical in the last few days? installed any audio equipment or rewired anything? Do you have an alarm fitted? Could that be causing the non starting? Does it turn over or are you getting nothing when the key is turned?
