Hazzard switch light stopping on

hi guys do you know if the light on my hazzard switch is supposed to stay on (dim) when i turn off ignition and lights think it may be draining the battery any info greatfully accepted thanks Tim

what i ment to say was i dont think that it should be on when the ignition is off,
i was tired,lol
