engine management light!
Does anyone know which plugs make the engine management light come on. Only when I go over a large bump/pothole I get the light come on for a few seconds like there is a lose connection somewhere.
I recently removed my ICV to clean/un-stick it as it got jammed open. Taken it out for a spin it was fine, then the next time i went out I had juddery spluttering with the engine management light, I've checked all the common connections, Air flow meter, distributor cap plug, Idle control valve, throttle position sensor and the knock sensor wiggled a few wires but sit still does it randomly. Any ideas what else I could check for? It doesn't stay on long enough for me to attempt the paper-clip test.
Cheers

Went out in the car again tonight, It's been standing for about 9 hours and when started the eml light was on, I tryed reversing off the drive and it sounded almost like misfire then cutted out, it took a few seconds holding the key on 3 to start with a bit of throttle but eventually went only to cut out again.
I got it off the drive and down the road and the light went out, Any ideas what this could be? I havn't got round to doing the paperclip test but will be doing it tomorrow when I finish work. I have 2 spare xe's to swap sensors so its probably worth trying changing the crank sensor?
