Well today had the dash off to check my EM light. Once i checked and found it was a dodgy connection I fitted it all back in again. Now the speedo is reading about minus 40mph. No matter what I do it still heads back down under!! Here's a phot...

isn't there suppose to be a small pin for the needle to rest on?
is it cable driven or electronic speedo?

BETTER TO HAVE A CALIBRA AND NOT NEED ONE, THAN NEED A CALIBRA AND NOT HAVE ONE!!!

Just had another look and no sign of there being a pin for it to rest on. When I switch the ignition on the needle actually moves to that position. You can feel it forcing itself into that position and won't stop until it is???

I see no hole? The speedo doesn't read correctly when driving, it reads about 30-40mph out. The first thing I done was look for anything that would stop the needle from moving past zero but nothing is visible even close up? Where do you think the small hole should be? Anyone got a photo?

Thought as much, had me puzzled. In the end I let the needle rest where it's at and then took it off and repositioned it at zero. Seems to be working ok now. Just puzzled why it took to rest at the position that it did? Anyone else had this happen?
