ELECTRICAL PROBLEM

Started my 1995 2ltr 8v this morning no problem. When I plugged in my mobile charger to the phone the radio went dead and the alternator charging light came on. I then checked other functions and the following are also not working: HRW, heated seats, auxiliary socket (for mobile charger), temp gauge, fuel gauge, voltmeter (ie not charging), revcounter (although this occasional flicks just above zero). All these were working perfectly prior to today's problem. All lights, horn, central locking, windows, heater fan are OK. I have checked all fuses and none have blown. Wondered if it might be an earthing problem. Any ideas would be appreciated.

Turned out to be fuse no 2 which looked OK but turned out to be faulty. Thanks for your help.
