collors wires trip computer switch connection
I tried to install a trip computer in the Cali of a friend of mine.
All seemed OK.
Off course trip computer connector behind golve compartment was found in no time.
After that came connecting the switch to control the trip computer.
Found out no wiring was installed for this mod.
The wires are present, but the connector is not.
see 4th pic from under in techie fuel comp mod
Can anybody tell what wires are in which connector.
I would get the info from my Cali, however that is momentarily not available to me.

Re: collors wires trip computer switch connection
If you find you car does not have the correct under carpet loom which the switch plugs into you will have to connect the wires to the large plug in the passenger footwell.
Pins No's
14 brown/black minutes adjust (right pentip switch)
27 brown/yellow common
28 brown/white reset (rear raised switch)
41 brown/blue hours adjust (left pentip switch)
42 brown/red function (front switch)
Remove the cover ontop of the connector which should expose wires you need to get to.
hope this helps
