Installed new battery then indicator lights stay on.
Been travelling a lot in my campervan and hadnt used the V6 for a while. A year no less.
Battery was dead and could not be charged.
Replaced it then indicator lights are staying on. Not flashing just on all the time. Not the alarm though. And car drives, everything works apart from indicators staying on. Messing about with various combinations of key in ignition or doors unlocked while re-installing the battery didnt make any difference.
Started messing about with the wires on the live battery terminal then the indicator lights went off for a short while till i tightend the nut on the terminal.
Could be that one of the live terminal battery connectors near the bolt in the picture below has a semi-break. But dont know what its for.

Anyone familiar with this kind of fault ?

Re: Installed new battery then indicator lights stay on.
it could be a faulty relay or the hazard warning switch is faulty , as that has the same effect

Thanks..for that...and for your tip for the calibra auto electrician near paisley...he knew his stuff..and traced the fault to the airflow meter. Over a year ago i know, but have not used the v6 since. thats girlfriends for you...
..
Probaby i should sell this car to somebody who is going to use it properly. Its got a few years in it yet.
BTW for the record..the indicator lights were just what i thought, a loose live wire at the battery terminal.
