2 Problems on SE9 Help Needed
Oil Pressure Gauge, needle goes right across to opposite stop when ignition is turned on, Speedo sometimes works or will stop in 80mph position and stay there, weird all suggestions are welcome as I am not a mechanic and trying to restore an SE9 V6, thanks.

pressure guage will be the sender unit or connector to the sender, give the connection a clean.

you might not have a sender unit, same problem i have with my gauge, although I have a sender unit now just gotta fit it...

You shouldn't know it stops at 80!!

as above ,remove rh front wheel you will the the oil pressure switch.poking behind crank pulley..should be two wires on it.as said connection go crusty .r.e the speedo...sounds like duff clocks,need a replacement set from a v6.there was a set in the for sale on here.

All V6's after 96 should have a battery & volt gauge fitted as standard, location of sender unit in pic.

My oil pressure gauge went the same way last week, I found a break in the wire that connects to the pressure switch body, the plug in the middle is for the oil pressure light that was ok

Thanks for replies will check out weekend, thanks guys, just not sure if I should buy the clocks yet as could the fault be sensor?

TC no lights showing abs also no lights showing, so previous owner could have pulled bulbs, just a guess as I havent pulled the clocks.
