Brake bulb light

Brake bulb light

Very rarely this comes on. Brake bulbs all work as the bulbs and holders are new. This sometimes happens if sitting in traffic with the foot brake on the warning light comes on. Is it at all possible the switch on the pedal could be at fault?

They are new bulbs and lamp holders and all contacts cleaned when they were replaced.
