Damp passenger floor carpet mystery..
Not an electric problem but an interior moisture hassle.
For a week or so now I've noticed the passenger front footwell carpet is a little damp to the touch. A little worrying..
Definitely isn't wet shoes/feet from our rainy and miserable weather (I ofcourse have floor mats to prevent that) but I did dry all the moisture off completely using a paint heat gun and a week or so later that same slightly damp to the touch feeling again.
Has anyone experienced anything like this before? Its only on the front passenger carpeting.. no other carpeted area is like this. They are as dry as a rock.
I've checked seals and they are fine.. and only the bottom carpet is damp not the tappering up carpeted section that covers the firewall.
Possibly blocked or leaking aircon pipes? Only thing I can think of an an ageing car that may form a leak?
Any remedies??
Cheers!
