Bulb failure warning light.

Any electrical issues

Hi All

When drving with lights on a warning light on dash is illuminated.
Checked in the hand book and it's the bulb failure warning light (the one without the brackets). But when I check my headlights, sidelights and taillights they are all working. So why have I got the warning light?

Any thoughts!!

BRake pedal switch is working fine and I checked the condition of the contacts for all the bulbs even though they were all working.

Cal2616v : Yes it's the big bulb warning light.

The big light is usually for the front lights. Turn your side lights on and then check the bulbs and then turn your headlights on and check the bulbs.
Also check the high beam and spot lights.

Hi i had a similar problem with my rear lights everthing seemed fine.In the end it was the bulbs i got someone to sit on the brake peddle and form inside the boot tapped the back of the brake bulb and this kept cutting out the only way i found of stopping this was to replace both bulbs and this cured my problem.Hope this helps:?:

It does it on mine,I have afterburners and one of the warning lights always stays on (due to the led bulbs) But i have normal bulbs in the brakes and that warning light sometimes comes on even when they are working.Im gonna take the warning bulbs out soon.

Last time I had a similiar problem to this, was because the filament in the brake/sidelight had melted to each other, lights worked fine, but it brought the warning lamp on, one new bulb later, problem solved.

Gaz.
LET the fun begin.
